Job summary

Virgin Money UK in Swindon is seeking a Risk Manager Lead to shape and deliver credit scoring capability across Retail Lending, Behavioural and Collections. You will lead a small team with a Senior Risk Manager, delivering scorecard models and innovative risk tools to optimise lending decisions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement with Senior Management, product, and risk teams, and a proven track record of leading others.

Qualifications

• Hands-on delivery of multiple scorecard/model developments.
• Ability to translate complex issues for non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of leading teams to deliver quality models on tight timescales.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leadership in risk and product.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape development of credit scoring capability across Retail Lending portfolios.
