Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to lead the creation of a credit risk framework for its new Flex credit card portfolio. The role involves overseeing a team and developing data-driven strategies to enhance customer engagement and mitigate losses.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in unsecured lending, particularly in credit card lifecycle management, and must be proficient in SQL. The position offers remote flexibility within the UK.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of unsecured lending portfolios, ideally with credit card lifecycle management experience.
• Proven experience in risk‑based pricing, retention, product upgrades, and loss mitigation.
• Comfortable digging into data yourself; SQL is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and oversee performance frameworks to monitor and forecast risk and revenue metrics.
• Architect and optimise risk‑based pricing programs.
• Design credit strategies for lifecycle events and customer loyalty.
