Job summary

KO2's client in County Durham is seeking a Lead RF Engineer to steer RF and millimetre wave design from concept to production on a hybrid WFH basis. The role pays £75,000–£85,000 with visa sponsorship and relocation support, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

You will lead technical directions, mentor engineers, and own specification, simulation and verification while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust RF solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on RF or mmWave circuit and system design experience.
• Ability to lead technical work and mentor engineers.
• Proficiency with RF simulation tools (Microwave Office, CST, EMPro or ADS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of RF and mmWave circuits, modules and systems from concept to production.
• Own the technical specification, simulation, build and verification.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices across the team.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, PCB layout and test teams to ensure robust designs.
• Produce design documentation and support verification and qualification.
