Job summary

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd is assisting a growing engineering business in County Durham to recruit a Lead RF Engineer. You’ll take the technical reins on RF and millimetre wave design, setting direction and mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Degree in RF, Microwave, Electronics or Communications Engineering, or equivalent.
• Significant hands-on RF or mmWave circuit and system design experience.
• Proficiency with RF simulation tools such as Microwave Office, CST, EMPro or ADS.
• Experience leading technical work and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of RF and mmWave circuits, modules and systems from concept to production.
• Own specification, simulation, build and verification.
• Carry out system line-up, tolerance and yield analysis for DFM.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Produce design documentation and oversee reviews.
