Job summary

WSP invites an experienced Revit Technician to join the Energy sector team, leading production of Revit models and CAD drawings across all design stages. The role emphasizes coordination, collaboration with clients and stakeholders, and proficient use of BIM technologies.

Candidates should bring a HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering and strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, with the ability to manage workload, present effectively, and work under tight deadlines within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in Energy Structures as a Technician.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and collaborative information management software.
• Experience with BIM360 and its collaborative modules (Not essential; training provided).
• Strong practical experience using Revit in a building structures role.
• Proficiency in planning and organising workload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; preparing engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information
• Work closely with external stakeholders, clients and colleagues to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes
• Use BIM technologies both in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant and construction
• Fulfil Project Technician role – manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration.
