Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive team and help lead the production of Revit models and CAD drawings across design stages. You will produce and supervise 3D BIM models, collaborate with clients and stakeholders, and utilise BIM technologies for conception through construction.

The role requires a strong background in energy structures, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD/Microsoft Office, and familiarity with ISO 19650 and BIM platforms.

Qualifications

• An HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in Energy Structures as a Technician.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and use of collaborative information management software.
• Experience with BIM360 and its collaborative modules (training provided).
• Strong practical experience using Revit in a building structures role.
• Ability to plan and organise workload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Familiarity with working under pressure and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; prepare engineering models and drawings from sketches and information.
• Work closely with external stakeholders, clients and colleagues to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes.
• Use BIM technologies in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise drawings for conception, planning, tender, building warrant and construction.
• Fulfil Project Technician role – manage drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, driving collaboration.
