Job summary

WSP in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive team and help lead the production of Revit models and CAD drawings across design stages in the Energy sector.

You will draft and supervise 3D BIM models, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and apply BIM technologies for conception through construction phases. A background in energy structures and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Office is expected.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in Energy Structures as a Technician.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and collaborative information management software.
• Experience with BIM360 and its modules (training provided).
• Strong Revit experience in a building structures focus role.

Responsibilities

• Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; prepare engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information.
• Work closely with external stakeholders, clients and colleagues to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes.
• Use BIM technologies in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages (conception, planning, tender, building warrant, construction).
• Fulfil Project Technician role – manage drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, driving collaboration.
