Job summary

Mears Group is seeking a Contract Manager for its responsive repairs service in Evesham. This full-time role oversees operational and commercial performance across social housing properties, coordinating supervisors and teams to deliver safe, high-quality repairs and meet client expectations.

You will manage KPIs, reporting, and service standards, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and Awaab’s Law requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a responsive repairs contract in the social housing sector.
• Budget management, performance reporting and people management in a repairs/maintenance context.
• Good understanding of relevant social housing legislation and CDM.
• Ability to present performance to clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and commercial delivery for responsive works, incl. Out of Hours.
• Oversee KPI ownership and service delivery standards across repairs.
• Line manage supervisors, conduct performance reviews and briefings.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and adherence to SOPs and regulations.
• Act as designated key holder for the branch.
