Job summary

O’Neill and Brennan is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead a flagship residential development in the region. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and drive the programme to on-time delivery with a focus on quality and safety.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, rigorous quality control, and collaboration with the wider project team to achieve customer satisfaction and successful handovers.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience managing volume residential developments.
• Proven history delivering high-quality residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of traditional residential construction methods.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and programme demands.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Hands-on management approach with a genuine commitment to quality.
• Experience within major residential developer standards.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating site operations, subcontractors and directly employed personnel.
• Driving construction programmes, maintaining progress against key milestones and proactively addressing potential delays.
• Ensuring consistently high standards of workmanship, presentation and finished product across all stages of construction.
• Managing quality control, inspections, snagging and the successful handover of completed homes.
• Maintaining excellent health & safety standards and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Working closely with the wider construction and commercial teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Providing effective leadership to the site management team and maintaining a positive, accountable site culture.
