Job summary

O'Neill & Brennan recruiting for experienced Site Engineers to join the delivery team on a large flagship construction scheme in Bath.

The role is initially temporary-to-permanent, offering a long-term permanent position after proving fit on a major project. You will own setting out, surveying, QA, RAMS and safety, coordinating with site management and subcontractors to deliver to drawings and programme.

Qualifications

• Proven Site Engineering experience with a recognised Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor.
• Experience on construction projects valued at £20 million or above.
• Strong setting out and surveying capabilities with relevant equipment.
• Excellent understanding of drawings, specifications, tolerances and QA procedures.
• Coordinate with site management and subcontractors.
• Proactive, organized and dependable approach to site engineering.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking setting out and surveying duties across designated areas and packages.
• Ensuring works are completed accurately and in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinating with Site Managers and subcontractors to maintain progress.
• Reviewing technical drawings, identifying discrepancies and resolving queries.
• Managing QA documentation, inspection records and reporting.
• Supporting RAMS preparation and ensuring safety compliance on site.
• Monitoring subcontractor works for design and tolerance compliance.
• Maintaining accurate site records and survey data.
• Identifying potential technical or programme issues and assisting resolution.
