Job summary

CareTech Community Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior support worker to guide a team of care staff, support daily routines for young people, and ensure the highest level of care. Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in children's residential settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to cover shifts including weekends.
• Comfort with digital care records daily.
• Training will be provided for new systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of support workers.
• Ensure our children receive the highest level of support.
• Support home management team with timely updates.
• An average of 8 overnight sleep-ins per month.
• Plan and join activities and tailor care to individual children.
• Document, monitor and update records using the electronic care system.
