Job summary

CareTech in Ochiltree is seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Worker to support young people with daily routines, school prep, and activity planning. You will supervise a team of Support Workers and help create a warm, safe home environment.

The role requires SVQ 3, SVQ 4 progression, a full UK driving licence, and at least 12 months' experience in children's residential care; we offer a generous salary, bonus schemes, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 12+ months experience in children's residential care.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• SVQ 3 in Children & Young People required; SVQ 4 is a plus.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of Support Workers.
• Deliver high-quality support to children and young people.
• Maintain up-to-date care plans and produce reports for managers.
• Support home management with timely updates.
