Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer (RME) Technician to lead maintenance across its EU network. The role focuses on reducing downtime, supervising shift teams, and implementing upgrades using the latest technologies.

You will monitor equipment performance, ensure safety, and drive standardization of processes across sites. Key tasks include leading on-shift maintenance, coordinating preventative tasks, and collaborating with line managers to support admin

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventive maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, PLC programs, NEC, work order management.
Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure correct processes and maintenance tasks are performed.
Reduce downtime for operations so they can process packages as quickly as possible.
Lead a team across shifts, monitor processes, and implement improvements across the EU network.
