Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in the UK is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead high-impact regulatory advisory engagements for clients operating in water, energy and infrastructure sectors.

You will provide strategic, economic and governance advice on regulatory frameworks, price controls, compliance obligations, incentives and performance commitments. You will be accountable for engagement leadership, quality assurance, stakeholder management, and mentoring more junior team members,

Qualifications

• Senior regulatory experience within regulated water/energy sectors with track record of delivering solutions to complex industry problems.
• Experience with price review/revenue-setting processes (AMP cycles, multi-year determinations).
• Knowledge of assurance standards and internal controls (ISAE 3000, three lines of defence).

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact regulatory advisory engagements for clients across water, energy and infrastructure.
• Provide strategic, economic and governance advice on regulatory frameworks and performance commitments.
• Lead engagement delivery, quality assurance, stakeholder management and mentoring of junior staff.
• Support Directors with development and delivery of programmes and projects.
• Contribute to business growth through proposal development and thought leadership.
