Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Registered Nurse for Poets Mews Care Home in Clevedon, Somerset. You will act as person in charge when required, deliver high standards of care, and support residents and families.

You will hold a First Level qualification with NMC registration, bring at least 2 years of nursing experience, and be skilled in medication administration, care planning, and supervising staff within a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level nursing qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years' nursing experience in care environments.
• Knowledge of care planning and practical application.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medications and perform nursing tasks including dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and chronic condition management.
• Advise families and GPs on changes in resident condition and involve them in care decisions.
• Supervise care team to ensure tasks are completed and residents receive required care.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and care planning.
