Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, dedicated Registered Nurse for Moorlands Lodge Care Home in Hindhead. The nurse will act as person in charge when required, ensuring high standards of care and effective supervision of the care team.

Applicants must hold a First Level nursing qualification, be registered with the NMC, and have at least 2 years’ experience with up-to-date care knowledge. DBS check and UK work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level nursing qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate a minimum 2 years’ experience in care and up-to-date knowledge of care.
• Display strong interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advise families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition and keep them informed and involved in care decisions.
• Supervise and deploy staff within the care team to ensure all duties are covered during shifts and residents receive appropriate care.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and care planning.
