Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Poets Mews Care Home in Clevedon, Somerset. You will act as person in charge, standing in when required, and ensure high standards of care for residents.

Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, catheter care, tube feeding, and managing chronic conditions. You will supervise staff and contribute to care planning while upholding our values of compassion and respect.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate minimum 2 years experience in care and up-to-date knowledge.
• Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medication and manage dressings and catheterisation.
• Oversee tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advise families and GPs of changes in residents’ condition and involve care decisions.
• Supervise and deploy care team staff to ensure continuous high standards of care.
• Conduct accurate assessments and care planning to deliver high-quality care.
