Job summary

Pin Point Health & Social Care is seeking a Registered Manager for a brand-new children's home in Hartlepool. You will lead day-to-day operations, shape a new service and build a dedicated team to provide high-quality care for ages 10-17 with EBD.

The role requires Ofsted familiarity, strong leadership and a commitment to improving outcomes. The home will operate Monday–Friday, with salary £50,000–£55,000 and an enhanced benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' residential childcare experience.
• Experience at senior or management level.
• Level 5 Management qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Good knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and SCCIF.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management and development of the home.
• Support Ofsted registration and inspection processes.
• Recruit, manage and develop the staff team.
• Ensure high safeguarding and care standards.
• Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards.
• Manage budgets and operational resources.
• Build relationships with local authorities, families and professionals.
• Promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
