Our client is seeking an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a children’s residential home in Liverpool. You will oversee care quality, safeguarding, staff development and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a skilled team, ensure care plans reflect each young person’s needs, prepare for Ofsted inspections and drive continuous improvement in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015. Salary £50,000–£70,000; permanent, full-time.

Formación

• Experience in Ofsted-regulated children's residential care.
• Level 5 Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Experience leading a team and ensuring care quality.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge.
• Ability to build relationships with professionals, families and external agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide visible, compassionate leadership across the home.
• Recruit, develop and retain a residential care team.
• Create a nurturing and therapeutic environment with clear boundaries and routines.
• Lead safeguarding and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Oversee care plans and risk assessments.
• Provide regular supervision and coaching to staff.
• Build relationships with families, social workers and placing authorities.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor quality of care.
• Identify areas for improvement and drive development across the home.
• Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and associated Quality Standards.
• Prepare for and lead the home through Ofsted inspections.
• Embed learning from inspections and feedback into day-to-day practice.
