Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a Lead Receptionist for Hockerill Dental Practice in Bishop's Stortford. Join a welcoming reception team and lead the front desk, ensuring smooth patient flow and outstanding service across a 44-hour week.

Shifts are Monday-Thursday 7:30-17:30 and Friday 7:30-15:30, with an hourly rate of £13.50. The practice features a high-street location with free parking and a close-knit team delivering dental care for patients in Bishop's Stortford.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience.
• Front of house reception experience (dental/healthcare preferred).
• Positive attitude, empathetic and well-organised.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with colleagues and patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the reception team and supervise front desk operations.
• Provide excellent patient service and respond to patient enquiries with professionalism.

About You

We’d love to receive your application to our Lead Receptionist vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

• Previous leadership experience


• Previous front of house Reception experience (ideally within a dental or healthcare setting, although this isn’t a must-have)


• A positive attitude, empathetic and well-organised


• Great communication skills, with a passion for delivering great service and building strong relationships with both colleagues and patients
