Job summary

PortmanDentex in New Milton is looking for a friendly Receptionist to join our welcoming team. This part-time role covers Fridays and Saturdays in a fully private dental practice, with a competitive hourly rate of £12.88 and opportunities to work alongside experienced clinicians and dental nurses.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, helping with bookings, queries and administrative tasks, while contributing to a calm, professional environment across our four-surgery site.

Qualifications

• Previous front-of-house reception experience, ideally in dental or healthcare.
• Positive attitude, empathetic and well-organised.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients at reception.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient records.
• Coordinate with clinicians and dental nurses as part of a small team.
