WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Principal Safety Consultant to lead safety engineering and assurance across rail projects. You will mentor junior consultants, drive risk assessment strategies, and ensure compliance with standards such as EN50126, EN50129, IEC 61508, CSM-RA, and RIR.

The role offers leadership of certification and authorisation activities, engagement with clients, and delivery across multiple projects in the UK and internationally, with minimal travel, in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering safety engineering and assurance on rail projects.
• Strong background in risk management and systems engineering.
• Knowledge of interoperability and UK rail standards is preferred.
• Ability to mentor junior consultants and lead workshops.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex rail safety engineering and assurance services on engineering projects.
• Oversee certification and authorisation activities including NTSNs and NTRs.
• Lead bidding, winning, and delivery of rail projects with clients.
• Coordinate safety approvals for stations and civils works.
• Collaborate on global projects from the UK with minimal travel.
