ESD Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial ownership of projects across London and the South East. You will oversee budgeting, CVR reporting, procurement, and cost control to support meaningful planned maintenance initiatives in social housing.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Proven track record in social housing and planned maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts; NEC/TP C is advantageous.
• Experience with NHF SOR; Schedule of Rates; BOQ and basket rates.

Responsibilities

• Set and manage project budgets; deliver CVR reports with variance analysis.
• Lead procurement, tender packages, and subcontractor analysis for best value.
• Oversee contract setup, site visits, and contract close-out.
• Perform site measurements, valuations, and issue payment certificates.
• Prepare interim valuations, variations, and debt management with client reps.
• Maintain live risk and KPI registers to protect margins.
