Job summary

Guildmore Group is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Planned Works Unit in London. You will oversee commercial and financial aspects, manage budgets, procure, and control costs across the project lifecycle to deliver social housing schemes in London and the South East.

You will handle monthly valuations, subcontractor accounts, commercial risk and opportunity, and contribute to commercial strategy, with potential to supervise junior QS resources.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in social housing or planned maintenance sectors.

Responsibilities

• Set and manage budgets for preliminaries, plant, labour, and materials.
• Maintain monthly cost-to-complete forecasts and CVRs with commentary.
• Provide regular budget updates to the Managing QS.
• Develop procurement schedules and issue tender documentation.
