Aukera Energy is seeking a senior quant/trading analytics expert to lead the design, implementation and ownership of a multi-market BESS optimizer across Europe. You will collaborate closely with the trading tech team to shape the stack, including forecasting inputs, ETRM/risk tools, and backtesting frameworks.

You will build market analysis, price curves and risk reporting, while mentoring junior analysts as the team grows in a fast-paced, international environment.

Formación

• 5+ years in a front-office quant/trading analytics in short-term European power markets
• Strong quantitative modelling skills including LP/MILP
• Proven proficiency in Python and SQL with production-grade analytics
• Deep knowledge of European short-term power markets and market structures
• Experience with risk, PnL and portfolio reporting in an asset-backed trading context
• Experience benchmarking optimizers and route-to-market providers is a plus
• Engineering/Math/Physics/Economics/Finance degree; energy-trading certs a plus
• Pragmatic builder's mindset for scale-up environments

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and own the BESS optimizer across multi-market environments
• Collaborate with the trading technology team to shape the optimization stack
• Build market analysis and price curves across day-ahead, intraday and ancillary services
• Develop backtesting frameworks to evaluate strategies
• Create risk, PnL and reporting frameworks with the Risk Manager
• Mentor junior analysts as the team grows
• Develop and execute trading strategies across European markets
