Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Senior Quantitative Analyst to support its battery energy storage platform across Great Britain and Germany.

You will work at the intersection of battery revenues, portfolio risk, quantitative modelling and investment strategy, translating complex analysis into commercial recommendations and advising senior stakeholders on risk and return opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative and analytical experience within energy markets, power trading, risk or BESS.
• Understanding of battery revenue dynamics and European power markets.
• Experience with risk modelling, scenario analysis and revenue forecasting.
• The ability to combine technical analysis with sound commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Analysing revenue, market and cash-flow risk across BESS assets and portfolios
• Developing quantitative risk models, including stochastic modelling and Monte Carlo simulations
• Assessing revenue streams across wholesale markets, balancing and ancillary services
• Evaluating route-to-market structures, including tolling, floors and hybrid arrangements
• Supporting investment decisions, stress testing and portfolio risk management

We're hiring: Senior Quantitative Analyst - BESS | GB & Germany

I'm working on a search for a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join a growing battery energy storage platform, supporting its BESS portfolio across Great Britain and Germany.

This is a commercially focused quantitative role, sitting at the intersection of battery revenues, portfolio risk, quantitative modelling and investment strategy. You'll work closely with senior commercial stakeholders, helping assess risk and return across operational assets, new investment opportunities and route-to-market arrangements.
