Arrow Precision Engineering is looking for a Lead Quality Inspector at our Hinckley site. You will lead the inspection team and perform visual and dimensional checks on machined and sourced components to drawings and specifications.

The role requires an engineering qualification or apprenticeship, experience as an inspector, and strong drawing interpretation, measurement skills, and knowledge of ISO9001. CMM (MCOSMOS) experience is essential.

Formación

• Qualification or Apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Experience of working in an Inspector role is essential
• Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, dimensional and visual inspection.
• Ability to follow processes, procedures and requirements of ISO9001
• Articulate communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of machined and sourced components to specifications and drawings.
• Ensure processes are delivering intended outcomes.
• Approving incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approving in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production.
• Approving finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
