Job summary

Jobsinkent in Headcorn seeks a Senior Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing business. You will program, operate and interpret CMM results, provide technical guidance to inspectors, and inspect components per drawings while supporting ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong CMM programming, senior inspection experience, and a solid grasp of GD&T and engineering drawings, plus leadership and proactive problem-solving to drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong hands-on CMM programming and operation experience.
• Experience working in a senior or lead inspection role.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Programming, operating and interpreting results from CMM equipment and measuring systems.
• Providing technical guidance and support to other inspectors.
• Inspecting components and assemblies against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Identifying non-conformances and supporting corrective actions.
• Working with other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Supporting ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement.
