DeverellSmith Group in Central London seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing SME consultancy. The role covers live schemes from £20m to £100m across Residential, Co-Living and PBSA, Industrial & Logistics, and office sectors, with full lifecycle involvement from feasibility to practical completion.

You will work within a team of QS, PMs and engineers, supporting cost planning, tendering, procurement, contract administration and value reporting, with MRICS or APC progression

Qualifikationen

• MRICS qualified, or APC target within 12 months
• Experience in a cost consultancy environment
• Confident with measurement software and advanced Excel
• Strong experience administering JCT contracts
• Residential new-build and/or Industrial & Logistics projects
• Strong commercial and cost-planning experience
• Excellent attention to detail and technical proficiency
• A creative, practical approach to problem-solving
• Able to manage multiple priorities, with strong communication and teamwork

Aufgaben

• Managing projects and delivering high-quality commercial services
• Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process
• Compiling contract documentation and ensuring relevant contract requirements are included
• Evaluating and reporting on project programmes
• Supply chain engagement and main contractor procurement
• Cost planning, cost options and cost exercises
• Supporting carbon impact assessments (training provided)
• Managing interim payments, valuations and change
• Preparing and maintaining cost reports and cash flow forecasts
• Monthly commercial reporting
