Job summary

AESC UK in Sunderland seeks a Quality Management System auditor to lead the ongoing development and auditing of the QMS, aligning with IATF16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015. You will coordinate internal and external audits, mentor QMS technicians, and support continual improvement across production sites in the UK.

The role requires strong communication skills, a driving licence, and willingness to travel nationally and occasionally overseas to support audits and supplier assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience with IATF16949:2016 and related standards.
• Strong ability to plan and conduct internal & external audits.
• Proven track record implementing and maintaining quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the QMS to meet business needs.
• Coordinate and facilitate customer and third‑party audits.
• Plan and execute internal system/process/product audits across sites.
• Monitor NCR/OFI status and drive corrective actions.
• Supervise QMS technicians and mentor staff on training.
