Job summary

Qualifications

• Electrical trade background or equivalent qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
• 5+ years in a similar QA/QC/M&E role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems, installation and commissioning
• Excellent attention to detail and planning skills
• Able to self-manage, prioritise and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare handover inspection, test documentation and O&M manuals
• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for Electrical and Mechanical works
• Review and issue final handover packages to the client
• Ensure compliance to regulatory standards throughout installation and inspection
• Perform quality inspections and close out defects
• Oversee testing to ensure correct execution on the project
• Liaise with construction management and client on quality matters
• Coordinate with teams, subcontractors and consultants to meet quality requirements
• Input into weekly progress reporting on quality items
