Job summary

CTS Group is seeking a QA/QC Manager (Electrical Bias) for a flagship data centre project in Middlesbrough. You will lead QA/QC activities, implement the quality plan, and ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements throughout design, construction, and commissioning.

The role requires a strong electrical background, 7+ years in QA/QC within construction, and excellent leadership and communication skills to drive quality across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of QA/QC teams on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English language proficiency with technical writing ability.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project QA/QC team across all activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan.
• Promote a proactive quality culture on the project site.
• Act as primary quality representative liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Lead inspection and test plans (ITPs) across all systems.
• Ensure electrical installations meet project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate punch lists, non‑conformances and handover processes.
• Produce quality reports, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
