Job summary

Cboe Europe is seeking a Senior QA Manager to lead quality engineers across our European exchange platforms. You will prioritize, schedule, and staff testing projects, while hands-on contributing to test frameworks and automated tests.

You'll help manage CI/CD pipelines and dashboards, mentor the team, and apply AI techniques to improve QA across trading systems. This role is based in London with in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Recent management experience overseeing quality assurance teams.
• Ability to hire top talent and grow QA engineers.
• Three years of experience leading test efforts or testing teams.
• Experience with an AI-centric SDLC in QA.
• Practical experience with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex or similar.
• Familiarity with LangChain, AutoGen or equivalents.
• Five+ years of individual contributor QA experience with test frameworks and automated tests.
• Knowledge of Python scripting or programming; willingness to learn Python.
• Strong OO design and programming techniques.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Experience with Git/Subversion and CI tools (Jenkins, Bamboo).
• Atlassian tools experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of software quality engineers responsible for testing and deployment of the Cboe Europe high performance trading system.
• Translate testing requirements into automated regression tests for Exchange platforms.
• Review code and guide newer team members.
• Contribute to new tool designs and testing techniques.
• Apply modern AI techniques to QA within the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Learn trading concepts to develop diverse test scenarios.
