Job summary

InfoSec People Ltd on behalf of a client in the ETF sector is seeking an experienced Lead Python Developer to shape technology and data platforms. You will lead the design and delivery of business-critical solutions while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Lead Developer, Technical Lead or Principal Developer role.
• Expert-level PostgreSQL knowledge.
• Strong Power BI capabilities.
• Experience building data pipelines and reporting solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and business analysis skills.
• Financial Services, Asset Management, ETF, FinTech or Capital Markets experience.
• Exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and development of scalable data platforms and applications.
• Building and optimising Python-based solutions and automation tools.
• Developing and maintaining PostgreSQL databases and data models.
• Delivering Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions.
• Creating insightful Power BI dashboards and reporting capabilities.
• Driving technical best practice across development teams.
• Mentoring developers and providing technical leadership.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions.
• Supporting the adoption of AI technologies including Microsoft Copilot and other productivity tools.
• Integrating financial and market data into internal systems and reporting platforms.
