Oliver Bernard in London is supporting a global InsurTech client by finding a Lead Python Developer to own architecture and deliver scalable, business-critical systems. This role combines hands-on coding with engineering leadership to set technical direction.

You'll work with Engineers, Product Managers and Data Scientists to design and build high-quality solutions, mentoring teams and shaping platform direction as they scale globally.

As they continue to invest heavily into technology, they’re looking for a Lead Python Developer to join their London-based engineering team to take ownership across architecture, set technical direction and the delivery of scalable, business-critical systems.

The role

You'll work closely with Engineers, Product Managers and Data Scientists to design and build high-quality technical solutions, while leading from the front on engineering best practices.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll mentor engineers, influence architecture, improve developer experience and help shape the future direction of their platforms as they scale.
