Zusammenfassung

TNEI is seeking a Principal / Senior Consultant with Protection Studies experience to lead protection studies for generation, storage, transmission and distribution projects. You will act as Project Manager or Technical Lead on consultancy commissions and mentor junior consultants.

This hybrid role in Manchester or Glasgow offers growth, client exposure and the chance to shape protection strategies using key tools such as MiCOM Agile, PCM600 and SEL AcSELerator.

Qualifikationen

• Essential requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience delivering protection engineering consultancy for transmission/distribution/renewables.
• Strong understanding of protection principles for HV, EHV, MV networks and relay settings studies.
• Knowledge of protection logic diagrams and relay setting schedules.

Aufgaben

• Lead and deliver protection studies for generation, storage, transmission and distribution projects.
• Act as Project Manager and/or Technical Lead on consultancy commissions.
• Perform protection coordination studies and determine unit protection relay settings.
• Review protection philosophies and reports; ensure QA and compliance.
• Support proposals, bids, and client relationships across developers, network operators, OEMs.
• Mentor and train junior consultants and collaborate with related teams.
