Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Lead Systems Engineer for Propulsion Control Systems. You will lead the design, integration, and validation of propulsion control architectures, applying MBSE and ensuring requirements are defined, traceable, and verified.

You will guide cross-functional engineering teams, champion SysML and MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and support certification activities to meet safety and performance objectives in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of systems engineering experience in aerospace or related industries.
Experience with DO-178C, DO-254, or ARP4754A.
Proficiency in SysML or MATLAB/Simulink for architecture and requirements management.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and integration of propulsion control system architectures using MBSE principles.
Champion the adoption of MBSE tools for system modeling, simulation, and requirements management.
Drive requirement validation, traceability, and verification across the engineering lifecycle.
Mentor multidisciplinary teams on system architecture, MBSE, and validation best practices.
Identify and resolve complex technical risks with innovative solutions.
Lead technical reviews and customer engagements, communicating architecture and validation status.
