Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent in relevant STEM subject (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering/Physics/Maths/Science)
• Demonstrable knowledge of the system engineering lifecycle and ability to apply good systems engineering practices
• Proven experience in Propulsion, Mechanical, Fluid or Control Systems Engineering, preferably in aerospace or related industry
• Chartered Engineer or actively progressing towards Chartership
• Ability to apply previous learning to guide others
• Ability to research system design data and apply to complex problems

Aufgaben

• Create specifications, develop propulsion products and achieve entry into service while ensuring integration with interfacing systems and adherence to cost, schedule and quality constraints
• Liaise with other engineering and project areas to develop engineering solutions
• Plan and deliver engineering tasks across lifecycle phases
• Engage in activities such as requirements development, design and development, trade studies, technology management, modelling and analysis, system integration, qualification and certification, testing and Safety Case delivery
• Review specifications, reports and proposals for technical accuracy and alignment with task requirements
• As part of the Propulsion Integration team, contribute to concept development, trade studies, safety assessment, integration testing and qualification for propulsion systems on aircraft
