Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a Lead Projects & Access to Information Officer within the Social Services and Wellbeing Directorate. You will lead a small team and coordinate information governance, business continuity, health and safety arrangements, and asset matters to improve service delivery.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and motivated individual to join the Social Services and Wellbeing Directorate as a Lead Projects & Access to Information Officer.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will lead a small team and support the delivery of a range of key directorate functions. You will help co-ordinate information governance activities, support business continuity and health and safety arrangements, oversee accommodation and asset related matters, and contribute to projects that help improve services.
Working closely with managers, colleagues and corporate teams, you will play an important role in ensuring the directorate meets its statutory responsibilities and continues to deliver high quality services. You will also support the management of Freedom of Information requests, Subject Access Requests and other information sharing processes.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills who can manage a varied workload, build positive working relationships and use their initiative to solve problems and improve processes. Previous experience of administration, project support, information governance or business support functions would be advantageous.
