Job summary

ASSYSTEM is seeking a Project Systems Engineer (PSE) to lead and coordinate systems engineering activities across complex UK projects. You will ensure an integrated, compliant technical solution aligned with project requirements.

You will define project-level requirements, drive traceability, and provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams while maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering discipline with professional registration is required.
• Experience in design environments with systems thinking and integration.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering coordination.
• Experience with defining and maintaining project-level requirements and their verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project-wide systems engineering activities to deliver integrated solutions.
• Define and manage project-level requirements with full traceability.
• Integrate outputs from multiple disciplines into a viable system.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support structured decision-making balancing technical, safety, programme, and project requirements.
• Ensure engineering scope is clearly defined, controlled, verified, and validated from concept through delivery.
• Champion a systems engineering approach that meets quality, safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.
