Job summary

PCS UK is seeking a Lead Engineer with strong planning capability to drive complex engineering projects from planning through delivery, balancing technical excellence with program management. You will define scope, develop detailed schedules, monitor progress with senior stakeholders, and ensure alignment across multiple projects using MS Project, Primavera, Excel, and Smartsheet.

Candidates must have UK citizenship with SC clearance eligibility and a degree in Electrical or Mechanical

Qualifications

UK Citizenship and SC Clearance eligibility.
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong experience in engineering activity planning.
Proven project management and team leadership experience.
Knowledge of PMI, Agile or Lean methodologies.
Fluent English and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Define and develop schedules for complex engineering projects.
Oversee monitoring and follow-up of multiple projects.
Align project plans with senior stakeholders.
Create the Work Breakdown Structure with PM and Engineering Leader involvement.
Develop detailed project schedules based on activity definition, duration, and sequencing.
Use project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Excel, and Smartsheet.
Coordinate and control engineering activities and monitor progress.
Ensure compliance with EHS and QMS and legal requirements.
