Job summary

A global leading Aerospace and Defence organisation is seeking a Lead Project Planner based in Luton to manage and develop project schedules. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of project planning experience, along with expertise in Primavera P6 and a Bachelor's degree. The position is initially for 6 months and offers a competitive rate of £60p/h - £70p/h inside IR35, with 90% onsite work.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of comprehensive project controls/planning experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Planner with successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Apply Schedule Risk Analysis methods for management recommendations.

A global leading Aerospace and Defence organisation are looking to recruit a Lead Project Planner to be responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating project schedules, as well as identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive project controls/planning experience (5 years +) with proven expertise in all aspects of planning, project controls and project management methodologies (including AGILE) across projects of varying value/complexity
  • Expert user in Primavera P6
  • Breadth of experience in all parts of lifecycle and experience in the phases of Initiation, planning and execution
  • Proven collaboration, communication, planning, problem solving, decision making skills
  • Experience in application of Schedule Risk Analysis including identification, methods of analysis and recommendations for management
  • Commercial and financial acumen
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience as a Project Planner or in a similar role, demonstrating successful project delivery
