Venn Group - Lead Project Manager

Contract Duration: 4 months+
Location: Hybrid flexible working in Bristol
Day Rate: £900-£960 (DOE), Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Overview

Our client urgently requires a Lead Project Manager to join a contract. This is an exciting opportunity to manage all aspects of a defence programme.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate project specialist approval activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and targets.
2. Ensure that schedule, cost, risk, and quality objectives are met.
3. Mentor and review the work of team members.
4. Prepare and present stakeholder updates, including presentations of all approval artefacts.

Skills Required:

1. Experience working on Cat A programme or Project Delivery within defence.
2. Evidence of holding leadership positions, including experience working in a critical, timely manner.
3. Must have worked in MoD project delivery or industry-facing MoD projects in the last 3 months.
4. Experience in maritime, torpedoes, or submarine-related projects is beneficial.
5. Ability to work with defence IT systems (e.g., MoDNet).
