Lead Project Manager - Digital Transformation

VIQU has partnered with a leading FTSE100 company seeking a Lead Project Manager to assist with an ongoing digital transformation. The successful candidate will directly manage a team of four project managers, focusing on Application (ERP/SaaS) and Infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team of four project engineers, supporting their development, setting KPIs, conducting 1-2-1 meetings, and ensuring project delivery while promoting continuous improvement.
2. Standardize project management processes and establish a Project Management Centre of Excellence (CoE).
3. Ensure adherence to best practices across projects.
4. Support complex Application and Infrastructure projects, tracking timelines, risks, and budgets.
5. Manage relationships with senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Experience in line managing project managers, especially on complex technical projects.
2. Experience establishing standardized project management processes or a Centre of Excellence.
3. Proven track record delivering complex application and IT infrastructure projects.
4. Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
5. Strong communication skills to gain stakeholder buy-in.

Location: Cheltenham (one day a week)

Salary: Up to £80,000 base plus bonus
