Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking a Project Engineer in the United Kingdom to lead complex engineering projects from concept through to delivery. You will act as the key interface between Engineering, Project Management, customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution with high quality.

The role requires a degree in Engineering, IEng status, and strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks).

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer with IEng status.
• Strong 3D CAD experience; SolidWorks preferred.
• Knowledge of BS 8888 and GD&T.
• Experience using MS Office and MS Project.
• Strong communication with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Excellent report writing and project documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering quality.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into engineering deliverables.
• Define and manage project outputs throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead system design activities and review designs.
• Manage project design data and resources.
• Organise design reviews (PDRs/CDRs).
• Monitor hours, budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Produce and review concept designs and manufacturing drawings.
• Contribute to process improvements and system development.
• Support testing and instrumentation activities as needed.
