ALTEN, a global engineering and technology consultancy, is seeking a Project Engineer to lead and coordinate complex engineering work packages in a regulated environment. You will act as the key interface between Project Management and multidisciplinary teams, translating objectives into executable plans while ensuring delivery on schedule, budget and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience delivering engineering projects in regulated settings.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing scope, risks, dependencies, and schedules.
• Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience presenting technical/project information to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Interface between engineering teams and programme management.
• Translate objectives into clear engineering delivery plans.
• Manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress vs schedule, cost, quality, and performance.
• Coordinate design reviews, project meetings, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support planning, forecasting, and reporting of deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with standards, processes, governance.
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering disciplines for integration.
• Support supplier and subcontractor management and coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency.
