Job summary

ALTEN is a global engineering and technology consultancy delivering innovative engineering solutions across multiple sectors. We seek an experienced PMO/Project Controls Engineer to support large-scale, safety-critical programmes with planning, cost control, reporting, and governance.

You will work across engineering environments, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to project dashboards, risk management, and change control while benefiting from a flexible working approach and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure or complex engineering programmes.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Experience working with stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and scheduling activities.
• Maintain and track project cost, budget, and forecasts.
• Produce progress reports and performance dashboards.
• Track key metrics (SPI, CPI, Earned Value).
• Manage risks, issues, and change control processes.
• Work closely with engineering, commercial, and delivery teams.
• Support project governance and reporting requirements.
