Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Architect in Cardiff to join a well-established practice. The role offers ownership of projects, developing client relationships, and delivering schemes from concept to completion.

The successful candidate will have ARB registration, experience delivering across RIBA stages, and proficient Revit skills; you will work on residential, retail, leisure, industrial and veterinary sectors in a varied studio.

Qualifications

• ARB-registered architect with proven practice experience.
• Experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
• Proficient in Revit and capable of coordinating consultants.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for delivery of projects across multiple RIBA stages.
• Developing design proposals from concept through to detailed design.
• Producing and reviewing high-quality architectural and technical information.
• Leading the preparation of detailed drawing and specification packages.
• Coordinating Building Regulations, planning and statutory requirements.
• Managing and coordinating consultants, contractors and wider project teams.
• Attending client, consultant and project meetings.
• Communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Monitoring project progress, quality and deadlines.
• Supporting the technical delivery and successful completion of projects.
• Contributing to the development of the practice and mentoring less experienced team members.
