Job summary

Co-op Digital in Manchester is seeking a Lead Product Manager to shape ERP platforms and drive product strategy from discovery to delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams across technology, design and the wider business, delivering value for Co-op and its members.

Responsibilities

• Lead the continuous improvement of SAP and ERP platforms, working with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver technical enhancements, product upgrades, maintain compliance and support evolving business needs
• Define and communicate a clear vision, strategy and roadmap for our Food business products
• Work closely with SAP to continually optimize Co-op ways of working in relation to their products and the RISE methodology
• Work closely with stakeholders to balance customer needs, business priorities and technical considerations when making product decisions
• Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through to delivery, ensuring your product delivers meaningful outcomes
• Use customer insight, feedback and data to identify opportunities and prioritise product improvements
• Manage and maintain a well-prioritised product backlog, helping teams focus on the highest-value work
• Measure product performance and use evidence and insights to inform future decisions and investments
• Build strong relationships across product, engineering, design and business teams to drive collaboration and alignment

Lead Product Manager – ERP & Platforms

£63,000 - £73,000 plus private healthcare, pension with up to 10% employer contributions and many more great benefits (Work Level 5)
Manchester city centre - in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and the office as needed, typically twice per month (find out more about our hybrid working policy at https://jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

We're looking for Lead Product Managers to join our Product team and help us shape the platforms and services that support our Food business, ensuring our core technology remains efficient, resilient and effective for the colleagues who use it every day. You’ll set the vision, strategy and direction, leading product development from discovery through to delivery and working closely with colleagues across technology, design, delivery and the wider business to create solutions that meet customer needs and deliver value for Co-op.

• Experience using customer insights, research and data to inform decisions and prioritise work
• The ability to translate business goals into clear product outcomes, roadmaps and measurable objectives
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to different audiences
• An understanding of agile ways of working and experience working in cross-functional product teams
