Job summary

Co-op is reshaping its Digital, Technology and Data function and seeks a Lead Product Manager to own vision, strategy and delivery for a product area. You’ll work with technology, design, delivery and the wider business to create customer-focused solutions and measurable outcomes.

This hybrid Manchester role blends remote and in-office work, typically twice per month. You’ll lead discovery to delivery, balancing customer needs with commercial priorities, using insights to prioritise a back­log

• Significant product management experience, including defining product strategies and leading complex products or initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across a range of teams and seniority levels.
• Experience using customer insights, research and data to inform decisions and prioritise work.
• The ability to translate business goals into clear product outcomes, roadmaps and measurable objectives.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to different audiences.
• An understanding of agile ways of working and experience working in cross‑functional product teams.

We're looking for Lead Product Managers to join our Product team and help us create products and services that make a real difference for our customers, members and colleagues. In this role, you'll set the vision, strategy and direction for your product, working closely with colleagues across technology, design, delivery and the wider business to create solutions that meet customer needs and deliver value for Co-op. You'll lead product development from discovery through to delivery, making informed decisions that balance customer outcomes, commercial priorities and technical considerations.
